Giverny Lilly, 11x14 Oil

A good friend commissioned this piece for his beloved. It reminded me, of course, of one of my favorite artists, Claude Monet. I can see why Mr. Monet painted hundreds of paintings of his ponds- the play of light upon the water and the lily pads was like painting a poem.
